About 3AAC

3A is a creative platform in London.

It focuses on how overseas students articulate artistic expression, social interaction, and collective experience within a cross-cultural context. Through a series of events that combine art, play, and ritual, 3A explores alternative frameworks for participation and shared presence.
It seeks to create a space of temporary suspension — a site where participants can pause, reflect, and re-engage with others.At the same time, 3A functions as an evolving field of experimentation, where each project informs the next, continuously generating new forms of relation and exchange.

3AAC 是一个由伦敦艺术留学生自发组织的创意实践平台，关注在异地学习与生活语境下的艺术表达、社交方式与集体经验。我们以活动为媒介，融合艺术、游戏与仪式，尝试构建新的交流场景与情感连接。3A 希望为参与者创造一个可以短暂停留的空间，让人们重新体验共处与交流的可能性。同时，它也是一个持续生成的实验场，在不同活动之间形成循环与影响，持续生成新的形式与关系。

Stay with the Flash


“Stay with the flash” was an experimental event investigating the dynamics between darkness and illumination.
The space remained deliberately dim, allowing participants to move and interact with minimal visibility.
Portable flashes and cameras were used to record spontaneous fragments of the night.
Rather than producing a finished film, the event examined the threshold between observation, exposure, and authenticity.

“Flashing Night” 是一场围绕光线与黑暗关系展开的实验性聚会。
活动空间保持低照明，参与者被邀请在几乎不可见的环境中自由移动、交谈与放松。
一台宝丽莱相机在人群中被随机传递，快门键可能在任何时间被按下。
活动并非旨在制作成片，而是探讨在被观察与被记录之间，个体如何呈现真实与放松的状态。

Tiny Times—London Chapter/小时代-伦敦时代

A collective filmmaking experiment based on the re-enactment of a film scene.
Participants collaboratively reproduced the “Gu Li’s Birthday Party” sequence from Tiny Times 2 within a set time frame.
Only minimal props and space were provided; all decisions regarding script, framing, and editing were made collectively on site.
The project explored the boundary between replication and reinterpretation, and how creativity emerges through improvisational collaboration.

一次以“电影翻拍”为形式的集体创作实验。
参与者在限定时间内共同重现电影《小时代2》中“顾里生日会”的片段。
主办方仅提供基础场地与道具，剧本、分镜、表演与剪辑均由参与者临时决定。
该项目旨在讨论复制与再创作的边界，以及在临时协作中创意生成的机制。

The Century Auction/世纪拍卖会

A social experiment merging exchange, performance, and play.
Each participant brought an item for trade; the auction evolved unpredictably, shifting between storytelling, competition, and game-like exchanges.
Through its performative and often absurd negotiation of value, the event questioned how meaning and worth are reassigned in collective settings.

一场结合“交换”“竞价”与“表演”的社会实验。
每位参与者需携带一件可交换物品，活动现场以拍卖形式进行，但规则会被随机修改或打断——
有时变为讲述物品故事的比赛，有时转化为现场“大富翁”游戏。
活动通过荒诞的交易与再叙事过程，探讨“价值”与“再生”的社会逻辑。

逃学威龙

Using an open-ended exam paper as the starting point, participants were invited to re-enter the familiar process and atmosphere of a standardized test.
After completing their answers individually, the group engaged in a collective discussion about responses, evaluation, and meaning.
Through this inversion of a familiar system, the project examined how standardized education shapes personal judgment, conformity, and the notion of the “correct” answer.

以一张开放性试卷作为引子，参与者被邀请重新进入一场“标准化考试”的流程与经验。
每个人独立作答后，所有人共同展开关于答案与评价标准的讨论。
活动以这种反转的形式重新审视教育体系下的应试逻辑，以及个体在其中形成的行为与价值判断。

Unnatural Death/非自然死亡

A collective funeral performance offering participants the chance to experience their own farewell while still alive.
Each participant composed a personal eulogy and epitaph, presenting them through speech, performance, or recorded media.
The venue was transformed into a temporary funeral space, with participants collectively enacting the ceremony.
The project invited reflection on authorship, memory, and how one’s narrative is constructed at the threshold between life and death.

一场关于“自我告别”的集体葬礼。
每位参与者都有机会以“死者”的身份经历一次属于自己的葬礼。
他们亲手撰写悼词与墓志铭，并以朗读、录音或表演等形式完成告别。
现场空间被布置为临时殡仪厅，整个仪式由参与者共同完成。
“非自然死亡”旨在引导个体思考自我叙事、记忆与死亡之间的关系。

A series of participatory, sensory-based events that explore how shared physical experience can generate temporary communities.
以公众参与与感官体验为核心的系列活动，通过身体、声音与节奏建立临时性的社群连接。


Sounds Club

Participants contributed or created their own sound materials — recordings, rhythms, or whispers.
These were mixed and layered live to form a collective sonic composition.
The event emphasized listening and co-production, transforming the space into an improvised sound environment.

参与者带来或创造属于自己的声音素材——录音、节奏、低语等。
现场设备将这些声音实时混合，生成一个由众人共同完成的声音作品。
活动鼓励倾听、回应与共创，使空间成为临时的声响现场。

The Touch of the Ground

A participatory experiment focused on bodily perception.
The session began with a single instruction: “Move your ass.”
—inviting tactile interaction through movement.
The project highlighted the emergence of awareness through physical engagement rather than verbal explanation.

以身体感知为核心的参与式实验。
活动开始时仅提供一句指令：“Move your ass.”
参与者通过身体触碰与移动进行即兴反应。
项目强调从身体经验而非语言理解中生成认知。

Inseption

An immersive experience integrating rhythm and projected light.
Participants were instructed to keep moving without closing their eyes as flickering visuals and beats filled the room.
Through repetition and endurance, the work explored the thresholds of physical awareness and sensory overload.

一场结合节奏与光影的沉浸式体验。
现场播放持续闪烁的影像与节奏音，所有参与者被要求在整个过程中持续运动并保持睁眼状态。
活动通过重复与疲惫的过程，探讨身体感知的临界状态。

The first public gathering of 3A marked the beginning of the series.
It revealed that artistic practice does not always require an institutional framework — sometimes, it begins with a simple encounter.
3A 的第一次公开活动，也是整个系列的起点。
这场聚会让我们意识到：艺术不一定依赖展览空间，它可以从一次真实的相遇开始。

A night long movie screening and celebration of the first season spending with all 3A people.
一场夜晚电影放映，庆祝大家一起在3A度过的第一个季度。
