In the endless cycle of futility, individual life unfolds as a self-contained loop: one is born when birth arrives, and one dies when death comes. There is no need to seek permanence — it is best to let extinction continue at the moment of extinction. Each passing life resembles the friction of gravestones against one another, producing fragments that are eventually absorbed back into the cycle, only to emerge again in another form.
